NSO School of MusicAN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY
The NSO School of Music offers musical instruction in all orchestral instruments: Violin, Flute, Trumpet, Viola, Oboe, Trombone, Violoncello, Clarinet, Tuba, Double Bass, Bassoon, Timpani, French Horn, Percussion. We also offer instruction in: Drums, Guitar, Piano, Voice and Music Theory.
All of our faculty members have Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degrees in music and have at least five years of teaching experience.
Students enroll for a complete semester in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
If a new student enrolls after the term has begun, tuition will be pro-rated for the remainder of the semester.

Mr. Mike Sassetti - GUITAR
Mike has been teaching Jazz Guitar and improvisation at
New Trier HS for 18 years. In 2007, he directed their Jazz Guitar
ensemble to a Grammy. He has performed with: Tony Bennett, Don Rickles, Vic Damone, Frankie Avalon, Tanya Tucker,
Jerry Reed, Jerry Garcia, Dicky Bett's, Rich Little.
Mr. Charles K. Finton - TRUMPET
Charles has been teaching trumpet for over 25 years and is currently an adjunct faculty member teaching trumpet at Trinity International University. Hi is the principal trumpet in both the Kenosha and Northbrook Symphonies. He is a former member of The U.S. Coast Guard Band, a premier military band, and also The Civic Orchestra of Chicago (the training orchestra of the Chicago Symphony).
Mr. Sasha Brusin – GUITAR & RECORDING
Sasha Brusin is famed for his incredible technique and his scorching guitar solos.
He has been playing guitar and bass for 30 years and has been teaching for the past 20.
His education includes private studies in Europe and in Chicago at the
Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University Jazz Studies Program, majoring in Jazz Performance - guitar.
Ms. Lynn Niu - VIOLONCELLO
Lynn Niu holds a B.M. from Roosevelt University and M.M. from Northern Illinois University
majoring in Cello performance. She has performed with the Civic Orchestra of
Chicago - the training orchestra of the Chicago Symphony.
